Sunpro B, a novel alkaline protease used to improve digestibility of dietary protein.

The endogenous proteases synthesized and released in the gastrointestinal tract (GIT) is considered insufficient to optimize feed protein utilization in recent years because of untypical ingredients application and excessive thermal processing. Dietary CP and amino acid (AA) digestibility reported for animals indicate that valuable amounts of protein pass through the GIT without being completely digested. The undigested protein represents an opportunity for the use of supplemental exogenous proteases in animal feeds to improve protein and other nutrients digestibility. Sunpro B is a new generation of alkaline protease, the optimal pH is 9.0. This product better meets the needs of Intestinal digestion with suitable pH and resistance to gastric acid.
